The electronic diagnosis of the car showed fault codes P2841 ( Gear actuator 4 implausible) and P173D (Distance sensor 4 implausible), Audi technical suggest that as both fault codes are present, this is an internal failure of the gearbox and their recommendations is to replace the transmission.
